Pilgrim's proudly presents the inaugural Light Up Cancer Kids Glow Run on Friday, February 19, 2021! Kids aged 12 and under will race 1 mile under the lights of Downtown Lufkin decked out in their glow sticks! At the finish line, all kids will receive an awesome glow-in-the-dark medal! 

Registration and race start will be at the Municipal Court at 300 E. Shepherd Street. Same day registration is from 4:30-5:30 pm, but pre-registrations on Active is preferred. Race will start at 6:00 pm.

marathon • half • 5K

CHI St. Luke's Health proudly presents the inaugural Race for Hope Marathon • Half • 5K on Saturday, February 19, 2022! Runners will start and finish in historical downtown Lufkin and enjoy a quick and flat course through the Deep Pineywoods.

The swag bag, apparel and awesome medals that all runners will receive will already make you pumped for next year!

Warmup and stretching will start at 6:30 am. The 26.2 Marathon will start at 7:00 am; 13.1 Half Marathon will start at 7:15 am; and the 5K race will start at 7:30 am.

All runners and volunteers need to report to the parking lot in front of The Lufkin Daily News at 300 Ellis Avenue

Volunteers need to arrive no later than 6:00 am on race day. 

Packet Pickup will be on February 18 from 8am - 7pm.

Runners will start and finish in historical downtown Lufkin and enjoy a quick and flat course through the Deep Pineywoods.


Half marathoners will create a 13.1 mile loop throughout the city, while marathoners will do the same loop twice. Water stations will be located every two miles along the course and restrooms will be at the start/finish line. Restrooms are also available near Brookhollow Elementary close to mile 7/20.
